Square meal

2019

A series of black clay, partially glazed ceramic platters made for the second edition, Square Meal which was part of the Frieze 2019 programme. Fifteen artists and potters from Rochester Square ceramic studio collaborated to offer the visitors a generous breakfast with tableware specially made for the occasion. These pieces were then drawn onto with monastic chalk for the drawing to be changed and consumed during the surfaces use.
